When it comes to cooking, it's important to remember that everyone starts somewhere. I don't know anyone who wants to use a wooden spoon. There is a lot to learn and certainly room for improvement to become a successful chef. When cooking, you not only have to start with the basics, you have to start almost all over again to learn how to cook a new cuisine such as Chinese, Chinese, Thai or Indian.
Preparing a nutritious meal can be challenging because most people don't have to take the time to prepare and plan the meals our families refuse. At the same time, our families need to be healthy, so we have to learn new and improved ways to prepare healthy foods that our families can love (and unfortunately, in some cases, hate).
Many people will argue that preparing healthy meals costs more than preparing foods packed with additives and calories. The thing is, when you compare costs to medical bills, unless you do it over a long period of time, they seem pretty small by comparison. Yes, good food costs more. In most cases, this is a simple fact of everyday life. However, if you learn portion control and eat the right portions, you may find that you spend less because you are eating the amount of food you need to maintain a balanced and active lifestyle.
Many factors affect the quality of a Yuzu/Yuju cake, from the type of ingredients, to the choice of fresh ingredients, to the ability to cut dishes, to the skill of preparing and serving them. If you want to make a delicious yuzu/yoga cake at home, don't worry because if you already know the trick, this dish can be used as a great special dish.
To start this particular recipe, we need to prepare some ingredients first. All you can eat 5 ingredient and 4 step yoga/yuzu cake. This is how we cook
I was in a hurry. I wanted something sweet for breakfast and maybe a cake. In search of inspiration, I opened my refrigerator and found a giant jar of jujacha. Uh!
Ingredients and spices for making a Yuzu Cake:
- 200 grams of yuccacha (you can use jam or preserves)
- 200g flour + 1 tsp baking powder, sifted to get a softer cake
- 1 egg
- 50 ml of water
- Honey (I used the substitute for honey and coconut sugar)
Instructions for making Yuzu Cakes
- Mix all ingredients except honey. Stir and fold constantly until a thick mass is obtained.
- Pour into a heatproof bowl.
- Pour some honey on the dough. I used about 2 tbsp.
- Bake for 40 minutes. My oven is older than me (and believe me I'm old) so I have no idea what temperature to use. I usually stick a wooden skewer into the cake, it's ready when it's not dripping. It should be around 180 degrees Celsius.
The small steps you take to prepare healthy meals for your family are more important than running away. Before you know it, you may have more energy and an overall sense of well-being than you could have imagined before changing your eating habits.
