Instructions for making orange cake

1. Mixer, sugar and butter on a stand.
2. Add the egg, vanilla and 1/3 cup of the egg.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
4. Add the orange peel and flour mixture and stir until smooth.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-75 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
6. Meanwhile, make syrup with 1/2 cup sugar and juice. In a small saucepan, stir over low heat until clear and syrupy.
7. When the cake comes out, pour coloring or syrup over the cake.
8. After the cake has cooled, mix the icing sugar with 2 tablespoons of icing sugar to form a cream.
9. Spread the cream on the cake. Add a few pieces of flavoring for decoration.
10. Note* I made the same orange cake but with lemon icing and syrup. Margarita salt is sprinkled on top to make a margarita cake.
